Jäähyväisten aikaa, a time for goodbyes
The rhyme is from a Finnish folk song which tells about leaving for America, where there are roads covered with golden sand.
She also saw the first Ford in New York! That´s something. And luckily she didn´t travel in the unlucky Titanic. She then was also a citizen of Russia, actually Finland was an Autonomy of Russia. She spoke a very good English after five years in America and brought home a lot of dollars to by timbers for the farm house.
